    designed to improve employment outcomes for people with developmental disabilities.

Continuous Member Development:  Self Assessment and Action
        Session explored a variety of self assessment tools and methods to further development of member
        leaders; purpose and development related to self-determination prinicples will be presented and
        discussed.

DD Suite 4.0:  System Overview, Function and Features
        Overview and demonstration of the function and featured capabilities of the system.  Six components
        of the system were reviewed:  Administration, Council Activities, Grant Management, Report Generation
        Fiscal Management and Public Performance Reporting.

Planning for Leadership Change - the Expected and Unexpected:  Succession Planning for Councils
        Participants examined the importance of succession planning for a Council Executive Director
        position, the benefits, challenges and roles and responsibilities of the Council.

Promoting Council Messages and Activities During Lean Economic Times
    Participants explored barriers and solutions to sharing Council activities and opportunities in lean
    economic times.  Strategies and planning tools will be reviewed with an emphasis on improving
    results on a "shoestring" budget.
